GeoStructures, a design-build geotechnical engineering firm on the edge Purcellville, required offices with an attached work shop.  The exterior was designed to reflect the early 20th century nature of the town, originally a farming community and later a weekend destination for Washingtonians. The exterior of the office area is brick while that of the workshop is architectural concrete block.  We opted for a spare industrial interior, sympathetic with the nature of the enterprise.
